Check before you decide

We gather school facts from public sources such as the Colorado Department of Education, NCES, the U.S. Office for Civil Rights, and district and school websites, and we show the source and year for each one. Facts can still be out of date, missing or wrong. Before you apply, enroll or make any decision, confirm deadlines, programs and anything else that matters with the school or the district.

SchoolFit is not part of, or approved by, the Colorado Department of Education, any school district or any school. School names are used only to identify the schools.

The helper can be wrong

The helper uses AI to answer questions from SchoolFit’s data. It shows its sources, but it can still misread them or make mistakes. Treat its answers as a starting point, not advice. It isn’t legal, medical, educational or financial advice. There’s a daily limit on how much each person can use it.

Fit results are not rankings

Your shortlist is sorted by what you told us matters to you. It doesn’t mean one school is better than another, and we don’t rank schools.

Corrections

If something looks wrong or missing, suggest a correction and include a link to where you found it. Volunteers review every suggestion and may approve, change or decline it. By sending one, you let us publish the fact and its source on SchoolFit. Please only send things that are true and that you have the right to share.

Your account

Keep access to your email account safe, since that is how you sign in. Your notes are private to you. Please don’t use SchoolFit to break the law, send spam, try to get into other people’s accounts, overload the site, or copy the whole site with automated tools. We may remove suggestions or close accounts that break these rules.

Tips

You can chip in toward hosting, database and AI costs through Help cover costs (opens in a new tab) (Ko-fi, paid through PayPal). Tips are optional and are not tax-deductible donations: SchoolFit is not a charity. Tipping doesn’t change what you see or get.

No guarantees

We work to keep SchoolFit accurate and running, but we provide it “as is,” without promises that it will always be available, complete or error-free. To the extent the law allows, SchoolFit isn’t responsible for decisions made or losses caused by relying on it.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top. Using SchoolFit after a change means you accept the new terms.
