What to know about applying
Merit Academy is a free public charter school in Woodland Park (PreK-12; high school is its 'School of Rhetoric'). Families submit an Intent to Enroll form; if there are more students than seats, a lottery decides, with priority for siblings, then Woodland Park district residents, and extra priority for parents who attend an information night. Families who get a seat have three days to accept, and the district plans to charge $2,500 per student for bus service in 2026-27.
